Southern Nationalists rally in Venice, Florida

Over the last few years Southern nationalism has been spreading throughout Dixie. But especially in the great state of Florida. It has spread from Jacksonville, to Tallahassee, to Gainesville, to Orlando, to Tampa, to Miami; today it spread to Venice, Florida located on the south western coast.  Brave Southern nationalists took to the streets flying the State flag and Confederate battle flags. The demonstrators let passersby know they have had enough of the Federal government and wish Florida to be free. Folks were very supportive who drove by, giving thumbs up. One young lady joined the protest on the way to work, she flew a Confederate battle flag for a few minutes and hoped to see them out on the streets in the future. Truly today was a great day for Southern nationalism and for Florida.

Secession: Its Whats for Dinner

Sunday October 12, 2008

They may ask, "why secession?"

I say, "why not secession?"

None of the fifty States "needs" the Federal government. The Federal government "needs" the States. The population has been led to believe that we need the Feds and that there is an American "nation state"; that the fifty soveriegn States are merely federal districts created by Washington DC. When the fact is that the District of Columbia did not even exist until 1791. It was an area between Maryland and Virginia set aside so that the Congress would have a place to meet, the president would have a place to live, and the Supreme Court had a place to try cases and make decisions. I do not understand why or how people began living there, are able to vote, or how DC has a representative in Congress.

The fact is that everyone of the fifty States would do just fine as an independent nation amongst the nations of the Earth. Washington DC is not supposed to entangle the Union in foreign wars or alliances. It is not supposed to give the power to coin money to some unaccountable central bank that prints worthless paper "notes". It is not supposed to use tax payer dollars for anything except internal matters that affect the United States; however, it is not supposed to own any bank, loan agency, oil company, factory, or any business whatsoever. We are a Union of fifty soveriegn States, not a single socialist empire.

The Federal government can not "own" land. Only citizens can own land. Domestic military bases are not "federal property"; they are leased by the State and remain property of the State. Federal troops are not to be trained on American streets for "urban warfare" and defenetly not stationed on American soil in a combat capacity for potential use in "crowd control".

The right of the People to keep and bear arms shall NOT be infringed. Now exactly what part of that statement is unclear to Congress?? If you do not believe in the right to keep and bear arms then you have no business running for any political office in the United States. As a matter of fact i believe you should leave America and move somewhere else.

The Federal government is only responsible for securing one border; the border of the United States. Not the borders of Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Taiwan, Israel, Kosovo, Georgia(former SSR), Ukraine, or any other nation. The US military exisits to protect and defend the borders of the United States. Which means foreign nations should not have any American military bases within their borders. Especially if the war ended decades and decades ago.

Of course there are many, many, many, more examples of the Federal government violating the US Constitution. But how many more times must the government violate the very document which created it?? How many times must they screw us over, the American people, until we relize that we do not need them?? They are not necessary for Life, Liberty, or Happiness.
The time has come for us, the citizens of these United States, to cut Washington DC adrift and watch it sink into the ocean of greed and corruption it created for itself.

The time has come to embrace that sense of Liberty and Freedom which our fore-fathers embraced so many summers ago, and cast off the shackles of oppressive government.

The time has come for secession!
